sofia electric brewing labels II - Green patterns

I’ve had the pleasure and honour to work for the second time with Sofia Electric Brewing, but this time for a fresh Pale Ale.

Green Patterns is a fresh 4.7% Pale Ale with New Zealand hops Motueka and Nelson Sauvin.

The name and the hops are the reason for us to chose the Kea parrot (Nestor notabilis). An endemic, endangered, very big, strong and deffinatelly very green bird, symbolic for the forested and alpine regions of the South Island. It landed on a green Joy Division-like oscillation pattern, to finish of the look of the label.

Every part of the label is drawn by hand with watercolour, fine liners, Indian ink and pencils.
