Two-Headed Calf Linocut Print with a Carmen Ribbon and Golden Bell

€52.00

The Two-Headed Calf Linocut Print. Inspired by the poem by Laura Gilpin. The cute calf twins deserved a golden bell and a carmine ribbon, so I printed it in three colours with Cranfield ink.

Printed on Fabriano Unica 250 gsm Crema paper.

Size: 35x50 cm

Shipped in a paper envelope, secured with a cardboard back.

Two-Headed Calf

Tomorrow when the farm boys find this

freak of nature, they will wrap his body

in newspaper and carry him to the museum.

But tonight he is alive and in the north

field with his mother. It is a perfect

summer evening: the moon rising over

the orchard, the wind in the grass. And

as he stares into the sky, there are

twice as many stars as usual.
